also convenient for the major shopping thoroughfare of the "Mercerie",
which houses prestigious fashion brands' stores. |
| The hotel has a rich past; at the very beginning it
would be a post house, then, during the 1800's, the workshop of
craftsmen, and, when the Serenissima Republic played a key role in the
trade with the Middle East, it eventually became a guest house
accommodating the foreign tradesmen in the city. |
